outer
load shaft seal modified with a new heavy duty seal to stop load shaft leaks on your 4000, 4010, 4020, 5010 or 5020 hitch.  Also fits Industrial 600 and 700. 4020 serial must be below 250,000. Later models have a larger load shaft. You will need two seals to do both sides!
Replaces Deere AR87492 kit which a dealer would hand you.  The seal in that kit is AR26414.

This is a
very good
fix for a problem area on Deere hitches.  The seal is replaceable and can be purchased from Deere. The Seal holder is made by on a CNC machine in a shop in Michigan with great quality control. They are USA and they are right.
These seals are not the inside bushings with orings that I offer. This is a new fix. The technicians say it is a better fix than the old seals. You might want to use my bushings with o-rings as an additional oil block. I am not sure you need the internal bushings with my heavy duty seals. I suppose I would use both so I did not have to take it apart for many years! I will soon after the inner and outer seals as a package.
There is a private repair shop in the Michigan Thumb area that got me working on this project. If you have questions about the quality of this fix, I will give you the phone number of that shop. They work on Deere all day every day.
A few instructions are included. Basic knowledge of the load shaft and seals helps.

This job is not a simple one. If you do not have experience removing the load shaft I suggest you hire a Deere technician to install these parts for you. Getting the tephlon seal into the seal holder is harder than it looks. Stuff the seal in place then use a smooth steel rod to work the tephlon seal flat into the seal holder. Do this before you put the seal  holders into the tractor case.
