Multi point diamond dressers are highly recommended for cylindrical grinders and all type of large wheels where fine dressing is required. With these types of dressers , multi diamonds can be utilized to the maximum possible extent without requiring any resetting or re-sharpening of the diamonds used.
2 Rows of Diamonds are mounted on a circular crown for a 90 degrees angle formation between the circular crown and the operating plane. Once diamonds are consumed at their current position, crown can be readjusted for new set of diamond on the crown ready to be used.
Larger work area is possible with these type of dressers when compared to single point dresser.
Workload is shared between set of diamonds at the same time will help in achieving higher feed rate of work getting completed.
Finer finish is obtained compared to single point dresser.
